QPAM - see Quadrature Phase Amplitude Modulation.
QPSK - see Quadrature Phase Shift Keying.
Quad - A cable conductor that consists of a single plastic
casing containing four insulated wires that aren't twisted together.
Quadrature Phase Amplitude Modulation (QPAM) - This technique
is used by high-quality modems to transmit multiple data bits per
baud by combining the signals of two amplitude modulators.
Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) - This is a technique
to compress data transmitted by modems and other networks.
Quantum - This is most simply, a small, discrete unit
of energy.
Queue - A line of instructions waiting to be carried out,
or a series of data packets or messages that are waiting to be delivered.
QWERTY - The name for the most common type of computer
or typewriter keyboard, on which the top, left row of keys is QWERTY.
Compare to the Dvorak keyboard.
