Jack - This is the common term for communications terminals.

Java - A programming language invented by Sun Microsystems used to write software to put on the World Wide Web.

Javascript (JS) - This is a common scripting language for websites.

Joule - The unit of work or energy, it is the energy need for a current of one ampere to flow through a resistance of one ohm for one second.

JPEG - This stands for Joint Picture Expert Group, and it is the standard for the compression of still pictures.

JPG - The same as JPEG.
