Satellite Internet Systems

If you want to get high-speed DSL but you live in a rural area, you should consider getting a satellite internet system, like Direcway from Hughes (owners of DirecTV).

If you can't get a cable modem or DSL (because you're too far from a central office), then Direcway may be just what you've been looking for.

With a satellite internet system, you can start downloading and uploading, and surfing the web like you've never done before.

If you want to get an internet access satellite system, you do need to make sure that you're view to the south is clear. If there are large trees or buildings in the way, you won't be able to use satellite internet.

All satellite internet systems require you to have:

• A satellite dish (which measures about 2 by 3 feet)
• A downlink modem and an uplink modem
• Coaxial cables (for connecting the equipment)
